There are a few ways you can go with copyright as far as i know .
The first of sending yourself a copy of the music registered mail (and not
opening it !)has already been mentioned. If you are at the stage where your
music is being broadcast then you should really join the Performing Rights
Society (if your in the UK)and register the tracks with them .Plus you`ll
get performance royalties if your tracks get airplay .
The other (minus getting a record or publishing deal) is to keep any tracks
/data etc with a solicitor or a bank .This costs money though but you`ll
have a stronger case if you get ripped off .
