i love fruityloops to death, and vst synths and effects are a godsend... unless you're running a p3 at 500mhz. i increased my ram to 392mb, but that still hasn't helped as much as i would have liked. a new soundcard (terratec 88d) also helped out with some processing and latency, but i'm convinced that my processor's still the weak link.
