I finally managed to find some time to knock up a basic web page (for all of the 10
minutes it took me!)...

It's pretty shoddy at the moment but I'm not bothered about that... The only reason
it's there is to preview some of the stuff I'm working on at the moment...

So.... here it is: www.trunk-o-funk.com

I'm looking for some input on both the overall tune and the mixdown quality/levels
etc...

(BTW, I haven't done much drum programming on any of these (apart from the original
loops), so not much variation I'm afraid! But there will be)...

There's 4 tracks on there at the moment which are :

Stronger - I did this last weekend with a friend (who goes by the name of DJ finite
for anyone in the Liverpool or Norwich areas who know him)..
I like this a lot but it needs a lot of work... The sub bass that come in at the drop
is a bit odd.. Basically, in Cubase I have to turn the fader down to nearly zero in
order for it to come out at a low enough level!! Dunno why this is but it could be a
case of too extreme Eqing... Oh yeah, and spot the vocal!

In the Bud - This was the first track I did with my new soundcard.. I never intended
it to become a track but it kind of did.. I don't really like this one that much but a
couple of people have said they like it best so I left it on.

Every day - This was the first proper thing I did on the soundcard... Not sure about
the vocals but I quite like the overall mix...

Let love come down - I did this a couple of months ago.. Not finished but it's getting
there... Not DnB either... In fact I don't know what to call it!

So, yeah... Let me know what you think.. Rip em to shreads if you like as my style
seems to change virtually every week anyway!!!

cheers,

Nick
