Yeah I just switched out alot of my unbalanced signals to balanced TRS/XLR where I could when I got my 01V....that hurt my wallet BAD.
Speaking of balanced signals...how much does the quality of the cable matter when the phase reversal is going to neutralize the noise anyway? In other words, you don't need "Monster" quality balanced cables because shielding won't do much right? I know big phat shielded cables are better for UNbalanced intrsument signals, but what about balanced? Is this why balanced TRS snake cables are so thin? They don't need to be shielded much? Any reference to point me to? I've got Horizon and Whirlwind balanced cables mostly....didn't see the advantage of doubling the price on all the cables just to get Monster or equiv. peace LOS ----- Original Message ----- From: "daze" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 11, 2002 1:37 PM Subject: [dnb-prod] Re: Patchbays > yeah the patchbays are cheap enuff but doubling up on all > that cabling.................ouch!!!!! > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Brian J.
