If you have a crappy wav, Sonar won't make it sound better.
But if reason rendered that wav-file then the quality has to be good.

Aren't there any setting in Reason where that determine the quality of the real-time 
sound.  I can imagine on a slower computer you'd have to cut down quality to be able 
to 
play tunes properly real-time.
