I just got a used 01V a while ago and replaced my Layla20 with it as the hub of my sound...I had a good increase in sound quality and crispness added even tho both are 20bitAD, and I got all the extras of the digital mixer...midi on a mixer rocks....But when I compare the 24bitAD of my finalizer(on bypass) to the 01V's, I do hear the minor tinny/metallic color added by the 01v.......either way I'm very happy with it and can't wait to get an adat card so the a/d is not even a big issue.... peace LOS > > I'm curious to know how it is that you're > > dissapointed with the 01V's > > sound.
