Just some quick questions regarding cubase. I started out producing using
fruity loops, and as soon as I installed it, I started to make some music.
I've only made simple tunes, but I want to get into producing seriously, so
I figured I'd better get a serious program. I got cubase, and just installed
it today. It took me an hour just to get the thing to play a sound. I guess
it doens't come with any sounds already loaded like fruityloops, does it?

I still don't understand how to get it to make anything that sounds like
music. I loaded in some drums, put the tempo up to 175, but I'm having
trouble placing the sounds where I want them. It's just not intuitive. I
didn't have to read or look at anything to figure out fruity loops, but this
one I just don't get. What gives?

Anyone know of a "I-dont-know-shit" tutorial for cubase? I know it's gotta
be better, it's just not so simple. Also, I don't have a midi keyboard
yet, is there any way of inputting the notes with a point and click keyboard
like in fruity loops?

Thanks for helpin out the newbie!

Vince
