i know what you mean, it does tend to crunch it up a bit, but on a lot of
tracks i find it adds something.

i've tried the steinberg loudness maximiser but i still get better results
from t-racks.

i'd love to find something that works as well as t-racks but without the
tube effect that i guess is responsible for the distortion...
