the best way to clean pots is using JUST compressed air and a swab/brush.

if you really need to get some crap off, use alcohol. often switch cleaner
will actually do more harm in the long run.

i would never spray wd40 near a pot!! i'm glad it's a cheap amp you got cos
i reckon that pot could sound 100x worse next week bro!

the reason for using alcohol is that it evaporates and doesn't leave a
coating.
