hmmm.. is it on every 6th note by any chance?

sounds like the one of the VCAs is fried. the junos have 6 VCAs, one for
each voice. as you play each sequential note, it skips through the VCAs... i
think the 106 might have combined VCA/VCF chips but i can't remember.

anyhoo, it's probably repairable, where r u based? roland uk used to be
quite good for coming up trumps with old parts although i haven't worked on
any synths for some years now so things might have changed with that.
