thats the thing though, i couldnt even open any of those files with SF until
i installed that codec...

i think that it might well have been a link. like i said, im not even
certain if it was you who gave it to me. if anyone else knows what im on
about could you please help me out?

i use soundforge too. dont worry about sending me a copy of AL, i have one
that i can open - its just i tried listening to something today and it said
something about not having the right codec installed. thanks for the offer
though.

thats okay man. if anyone does know the file i mean, can they please tell me
the name of it?
its my own fault really. i should keep a note of things like that in case of
situations such as this. it shouldnt be too much of a big deal if i dont get
it, i can still look on the old comp...
