I really like the untitled track. It sounds like it's "growing" the whole
way through, if you know what I mean.

Are you mixing with a subwoofer? I find on a lot of basslines I experiment
with, as well as on this track, the frequency of the bassline is a little
too low for my speakers. I'm using Alesis M1 monitors, and when it gets too
low you start hearing some port noise. The bass is sort of there, but not
100%. It's weird because some good records sound like they're playing way
lower and the bass is loud and gripping, But when I'm playing around with my
gear I can't seem to reproduce it. Your bassline is killer though. Maybe
it's just this room or something, but if the track isn't headed strictly for
the dance floor, maybe you'd consider adding some higher overtones to the
bassline to make it more audible on lesser equipment. I can only imagine the
frapping if I listened to it in my car, which has nothing special for a
stereo. Some really good tracks tend to avoid that by playing with overtones
(I believe).

The second track is cool but not as epic sounding as the first, which I
gather is the idea. Being a fan of epic sounding shit, I'd be biased.

Let me know what you think about the bass - maybe it's my gear and I'm just
an amateur, I don't know.

good shit

Subject: [dnb-prod] New tunes from MK2 collaborations

Ok here are 2 new tunes that I made in May
in 2 different collaborative efforts.

The first being a tune from myself and Nathan Curry under our usual
psuedonym: Kindred Spirit. We haven't decided on a name for the tune

yet so as for now it's untitled.
Here's the link:

The second tunes is from mysels and Jesse Brause (from Charlotte, NC).
This is a more upbeat aggressive - but not really dark - kinda tune.
It called "On The Run".
