Unless you are compressing vocals or a whole mix, the attack and release was 
never responsive enough for me on the tla 5021....The Dbx 266xl are very 
good for the price but to be honest the Waves c1 software compressor is the 
best all round comp I have ever used...The other option is the TLA C1 which 
is the tits but that retails at around �1000! I really want a Focusrite 
compounder which retail at about �350!
