I can't get SX to run alongside Reason at all... It just hangs the machine..
I haven't had a chance to play around with it a whole lot yet though.... If it were Cubase 5.1 that you were having problems with then I'd say you were screwed because in theory the rewire 2 link should be AS solid as the timing is when you just play a normal audio track on it's own in Cubase.. I can only assume that it must be either a setting that's in SX but not in 5.1 or there's a bug somewhere.. Can't help any more than that... Sorry... Good luck! Help!! Hi ya peeps. I have a problem. Let me get the stats out the way and then you will know how to help me. I have an AMD athlon 700mhz, 512mb ram, x2 80gb 7200rpm HD's, Audiowerk 8 soundcard running ASIO 2 drivers, midex 8 and too much outboard kit. On the soundcard, i'm using 8 anologue out and SPDIF in via an 01V. Right. I've just upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP and have also upgraded from Cubase vst32/5.1 r1 to Cubase SX. Now the problem i'm having is that when i open Reason in Cubase via rewire, the sync is slightly out. I've changed my ASIO Latency to shit loads of different settings from 9ms to 181ms and have also altered the system preroll to optimize smooth playback and record but yet they drift slighty out of time. All my VSTi's sync perfectly though. Syncing with my external kit ( virus b, CS2X, Micro Q, Supernova and Novat drum stat) via the Midex 8 is rock solid. The LTB obviously works on the Midex but cubase loses sync with reason. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??????? I love reason! Why is it being mean?? I have re installed VST 5.1 r1 to run along side SX untill i get this problem sorted but i do want to make a complete move to SX cos i keep confusing myself with the different key commands and it's pissing me off. If anyone out there can help, please reply but don't just say change the latency cos that'll do f**k all to help me. Oh, and where is the PPQN setting in SX??? Thanks Jimbob :o) _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
