Jesse, I think you're right mate.. It's the RAM.. If you're running Win XP then 256 is the absolute min. to get the system stable even before you start running resource intensive processes.. (like cubase etc.)..
I've got three quarters of a gig at the moment and the bottleneck in my system is definately the cpu... The upside of course is that RAM has got to be the cheapest upgrade option!
