. I try to tell people the only way you should think about putting out a record is if you feel strongly enough about the material that you are willing to lose money over it.
OK, the truth must be revealed- its actually a commercial trance record, vocal and all <dodges thrown eggs from the hardcore DnB heads>- sorry, Im a music lover before a DnB lover...Our primary seller is meant to be the CD version(an EP with multiple mixes- a techno version, DnB version, etc). I would have to sell the label manager/financier on the fact that its worth having DJs play the track in order to strengthen sales of the CD . Come to think we probably have no choice, since a dance record people cant go out and...er...dance to is probably not a good thing. Thanks for the help, all. ---
