If you heard a 12'' that rinsed, but it appeared that the producer had used recycle (which would be near impossible to tell, cos it might have been another program such as Sound Forge or Wavesurgeon or Wavelab etc) you wouldn't think less of the tune, would you???
I know that Recycle is a bit overpriced considering WS is only about �20 etc, but it went a long way towards defining D+B as a music form with the break editing skills that erupted from within the scene halfway thru the nineties, given that so many great tunes have been produced with it. Its useful same as anything else that helps you make a cool tune and for people who use Reason, i guess its pretty handy too.
