Hi mate.
Your basically in the same situation as me. I've just got a house aswell. Believe it or not, the studio was completed before the living room. I don't have any online photos of it but i'll try to explain it. It's about 11' x 9'. The wall facing nextdoors house is covered in a medium foam wall so to stop the bass leaking through and to give me a balanced bass. The monitors are on stands about 2 meters apart facing down the room so to project the sound away from the neighbours. In the middle of the monitors is my computer stand with the virus plonked right in the middle. Then to my left is the rack and 01V. To my right are the 1210's and in the middle is my swivle chair (I believe Staples still has a chair sale on. Hurry). At the back of the room i have all my records and a spare chair for when my mates pop round. I've put some block shelves up ( from Ikea, about 6 each) which are perfect for my Zip disks and cd's and they look fancy too. Thats about it really. The walls are cream coloured cos i had loads of paint left from the hallway. I'll try get a picture for ya. I think one of my mates has a digital camera. Anyway, on with sorting out the kitchen.
