[dnb-prod] processors(OT)

So basically my do called 'future proof pc' i bought from pc world a few years back, isnt so future proof after all! well, if im to fit another motherboard in order to be able to use a pentium, any ideas of cost, best brands of mb and easyness of self fitting it?

Another thing im a lttle miffed on is, the fact that im always hearing the old 'Well if all else fails, max out the ram' and Vincel u suggest this. Now i've got jack shit idea of how it all works, but i thought it was down to the processor as to the speed(or slowness in my case) of the pc. So whats the score with that then?
