i'd be checking out the mac forum at cubase.net and maybe posting the question there as more people are posting thier experiences with SX. OSX is using audio units now and i'm not sure how this will affect vst plug ins, plus the new operating system has built in midi and audio support, so no need for freemidi or oms. i've been a cubase user for over 7 years but personally i'm waiting to see what emagic comes up with.... a future version of logic that is pretty well part of the operating system (how tight would that be?!) would be worth checking.
