The new USB card will ship at the same time as EOS 4.8. The E5 is a stand alone product for potentially new users, as well as a huge host communication tool for current E4 Ultra users. There is also plans to release a version that does not include the synth portion for those of you who want use it has host editor exclusively.


So with a USB card you'll have a very nice looking PC interface, plus it looks like you get e-synth capabilities too.  I'm really looking forward to it.
