I'm a cubase SX user and I'm wondering exactly how is the best way to record VST effect changes and such. I'm using fliters like north pole and d pole to mangle some sounds and I'm wondering the best way to record the movements. I was under the impression that the movements can be recorded as automation or something, is that assumption correct? having trouble figuring it out. I'm hoping I'm not limited to recording the effected audio to record the movements, cause thats where i'm at now. While on the subject, do any of the popular filters have midi controller assignments?, that would solve my problem. I'm hope someone on here is ahead of the game on this one. I appreciate any info.
