[dnb-prod] ***Missing functions in Cubase SX***

Right, I reckon this is pretty important. In the newest version of Cubase (SX / SL) you nolonger have the option to build your own groove quantises or extract them from midi files. Basically this means if you want to use the groove from that nice fat break you've just found and cut up in recycle / soundforge / whatever, in cubase your f***ed, you will have to use cubase's own presets, obviously for anyone using breaks and just wanting to make their tunes more human it sucks and so far their is no plan to include this in later updates. Cubase SX / SL is now the only upgrade you can get so if you want to upgrade because you're having problems with whatever version you use, you will have to use SX / SL.

I've spoken to the head of technical at steinberg uk who tells me that if enough people on their forum make a noise about it then they might try and include it in later updates. So if you use cubase at all, I reccommond you go to their site

But please, no flaming, insults, wisecracks etc, they are much more likely to take this seriously if we are a bit grown up about it and I am in no way suggesting that we raid or rush their forum, I feel that this is a very serious issue that need to be addressed.
