Thanks everyone for your advice.
 
I did try Acidizing my sample and using it in Acid Pro, but I had problems with the bpm.
I'll continue to fiddle around with it and see what happens.
I have not really used Acid Pro or Cubase before so I am sure I will figure it out in time!!!

exactly do what Panev Sharma said,
Dont know about the fruity loop issue, but if you loop your sample properly and Acidize the file then put it in acid it will work at your desired bpm.
