Hehe, I have a _slight_ soft spot in my heart for jump-up because that was the first Jungle I ever heard. Of course it took be about a week to get bored with jump-up, and once I heard ragga I was was exclusively in love. I still listen to Aphrodite's Jungle Brother every once in a while, though I think it's more for the Jungle Brothers than the jump-up anymore.

this is some great advice, thanks a lot... i think i get what you are saying about adding some different turnarounds to the bassline at the ends of the phrases, i guess i got a little lazy there. :) glad to hear you liked it... i was wondering how people would receive a jump-up bassline in 2003 ;)
