If it's a sample, open it up in the NN-19 sampler. You can't open samples in
Subtractor.

Subtractor is a synthesizer and can only load pre-existing subtractor
patches unless you configure your own patch from scratch.

If you just want all control options the subtractor's knobs and faders can
offer, just try to make a synth sound that emulates the bass sample you
wanted to use.

regarding the Matrix pattern sequencer: you can use this with any other
module, not limited to subtractor.

good luck.

Subject: [dnb-prod] reason question

I dont know reason that well but....
I was wondering how I can add a bass sample I have in to the Subtractor
Polyphonic Synthesizer(because the init patch only alows .zyp files) I like
the Matrix sequencer below it that works with it.
Basically what I want to do is make a bassline with a non reason bass
sample, render it then throw it in to acid.
