As far as i know you, can *not* sync the EMU to midi clock. (Someone please, please correct me if i am wrong). The closest thing you can do is the the 'Sync' in the LFO section to 'key sync' (instead of 'free run') so at least you LFO that has a predictible, repeatable result. However this is definately not the same as midi clock sync. From here you still have to adjust the 'rate' by hand until it sounds a close as possible to what you want.
The LFOs in the EMU are a bit poor IMO - for some reason the 'rate' doesnt allow you to choose precise values but rather jumps around in rough increments of .07 or .08??? trust -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Norman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 06, 2003 4:05 AM To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List Subject: [dnb-prod] RE: LFO's in Time Surely the LFOs can sync with the midi clock bpm - theres a little option on my A3000 and my Novation to sync to midi clock - I would have thought the Emu would have it too?
