FL users and others:

       A) Anyone used the new FL studio?  Is it as wicked as it looks?
       B) Does anyone know exactly what the Fruity slicer is doing to drum loops when it stretches them out using the fill gaps option?  When there's a big difference in tempo it can create a very cool reverb-like effect that I'd like to be able to apply to individual drum samples.  I've tried different timestretch settings but that doesn't seem to do it.  I might have asked this before, I don't recall.
       C) I hope I don't incite a flame war here, but what exactly are the advantages of 'pro' sequencers and Reason over Fruity?  True, arranging a full track can be clunky, to say the least, and up til now it couldn't properly deal with audio.  However, if my understanding of the new version is correct that's all history now.  Obviously, Fruity's included synths suck a knob compared to Reason's, but my impression is that VSTi's blow them both out of the water.
I just feel like at this stage in my production I should be moving to something a little more comprehensive than Fruity.  The big stumbling block I'm facing, though, has nothing to do with the software I'm using; it's my lack of resolve to knuckle down and finish tracks, which I'm sure everyone is at least somewhat familiar with.
       Thanks.
