i'd like to be able to say that i MAKE the same, (if only!!) all my efforts at my favourite genre of dnb have been pretty shit, apart from a few tracks that by 2 weeks later when they get left unfinished and unloved!! My favourites would include Konflict or Rob n Kermal i think??, Bad Co, Concord Dawn, Twisted Individual etc. In fact it's thanks to twisted's infectious beats n b-lines that gave me an extra kick up the arse, baffled by the simple and yet extremly effective sound he carves.
For me to be able to make tracks that stand along side the above sound would make my day man.
Sorry to drone on

Don't know if this would be considered OT, but basically I do pretty intense d'n'b, vaguely around the Dillinja, Bad Co style. I've got a live d'n'b band going though, and we have to keep it down a bit for club slots earlier in the night, so I've had to do some lighter stuff. It's turned out pretty educational though, and also brought a few fresh ideas in.
