[dnb-prod] latency

1.4ghz + 512ram.  i rewire to logic and after 10 tracks and plugs my 
computer often stud stud studders.  unfortunately i've maxxed out my ram 
(shoulda read the specs when i bought the box, eh?) and i'm wondering if 
there's anything i can do besides buying another cpu.

so yeah, do you think a new soundcard w/ better latency would help THAT 
much?  i'm using a SB Plat. now (don't laugh!)  ;-)

yeah!  cuz i'm tired of having to bounce and re-bounce.
