The RAM solution would be cheaper depending on what your doing like using alot of soft synths otherwise I would recomend the sound card option because I think it would work better regaurdless, especially if latency is your problem.

1.4ghz + 512ram. i rewire to logic and after 10 tracks and plugs my computer often stud stud studders. unfortunately i've maxxed out my ram (shoulda read the specs when i bought the box, eh?) and i'm wondering if there's anything i can do besides buying another cpu.
so yeah, do you think a new soundcard w/ better latency would help THAT much? i'm using a SB Plat. now (don't laugh!) ;-)
yeah! cuz i'm tired of having to bounce and re-bounce. ____________________________________________________________________ aim: tittsw0rth - web: www.tittsworth.com - email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
