Jim Problem is my PC is too sh*t for VSTs and i like the reliability of midi and rack boxes, so might well go for the Trinity...easier than getting Atmospheres, a new controller and a new PC too 8)
Even if the sounds are clean, thats no problems, I like clean pads. Apart from Atmosphere, whats the best sources of the pads, strings, synths for Klute/720 type stuff? If its a rubbish question tell me, hehe, cos I am guessing its combination of different stuff but if anyone is sitting on the ultimate pad machine let me know (has anyone got a Wavestation - are they worth seeking out?) btw - nice one to MysterMason - Ruff, Rugged and Raw being played on 1Xtra - best tune of the Shipping News, unlike most of the other cr*p that got played on Sunday night... laters Dan -----Original Message----- From: Jimbo's Drunk again [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 07 August 2003 14:55 To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List Subject: [dnb-prod] Re: Korg Trinity or similar You can't go wrong with a Triton for 400 quid. Nice keyboards. Nice pad sounds but the sounds will seem a little too clean! But if you like the sounds from it, get it. If not, just get a controller keyboard and a copy of atmosphere. >From: "Daniel Norman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" ><[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: [dnb-prod] Korg Trinity or similar >Date: Thu, 7 Aug 2003 14:27:30 +0100 > >Hi, > >Just been looking into getting another keyboard as a controller and sound >source. > >I liked the look of the Korg Trinity (sh for about 400 now) and just >wondered if anyone else had any experience of them or could recommend >anything else for the same kind of money... > >I don't need lots of controllers as i can use my Supernova knobs for that, >but I would like some nice 720 degrees / Good Looking / Alaska+Paradox / >Klute type ethereal synth sounds thrown in too. > >Any suggestions for a semi weighted controller with aftertouch and deep >sounds? > >Thanks > >Dan > >--- >Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. >Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). >Version: 6.0.502 / Virus Database: 300 - Release Date: 18/07/03 > > >--- >Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk >You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To unsubscribe send a blank email to >[EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ Use MSN Messenger to send music and pics to your friends http://www.msn.co.uk/messenger --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
