Can you set up a virtual dual boot system within Windows XP without actually installing 2 copies???

Just wondered cos someone i know uses Multiple Accounts and reckons that works as effectively as a dual boot....

I kind of do the same in Win98SE using different profiles depending on what I am using the PC for (e.g. the Network card is disabled in the Audio profile along with all the printer ports and unused USB ports etc) however this doesn;t stop stuff like Firewalls and Virus Checkers being active across all profiles (which isn't really what you want for audio recording etc)..

Does this still happen in different accounts using XP or is it effectively the same as a dual boot system???

Just wondered like 8)

Cheers
Dan
