That seems to be my major issue with Reason as well, which is forcing me to move to Logic or Cubase... A couple of times I've taken the same samples/loops/sequences and tried them in Reason and then in Logic, and I definitely had better results with Logic. I was, however, able to get Reason's output sounding a lot better by exporting a 24-bit master and then processing it with Ozone in Wavelab (mainly by messing with the loudness maximizer, dithering options and multi-band compression). Can anyone say whether or not this same degeneration occurs if you're using Rewire? Could it just be something with Reason's mixer? I haven't had time to experiment with this... > Still can't get my head around Logic though. ez_tab convinced me to start reading the manuals, so far that has helped tremendously with learning how Logic's environment works. Cubase's interface is far more intuitive, in my opinion, but also has own advantages/disadvantages of course... > > > > www.dnbproduction.net <http://www.dnbproduction.net/> - #dnbproduction > (EFNet) > > > > > > _____ > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, December 23, 2003 10:35 AM > To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List > Subject: [dnb-prod] who here uses reason by propellerheads? > > > > what software do you use + have you ever used reason.
