I just *love* that representation of a synth sound (Wooooow!).

When using a string/synth sound, have it filter in (can be linear, nothing fancy) instead of velocity fade, same for the decay…When you have a few sounds coming in/out like this is can start to sound pretty snazzy.

Obviously I have no idea what your actual question was asking though (hehe).

Subject: [dnb-prod] How to make those rising up sweeping synth sounds?

I'm hoping people can help out on this one. I've been looking for ages now trying to figure out how to make those synth sounds that rise up in pitch (usually as you build up to a drop). I've tried standard synth sounds and just drawing a line in cubase but they never really sound that great.

I'm talking about the sounds that go (don't laugh), because this is the best I can explain it.

Low note    higher     higher   higher higher higher

Woooow - wooow - woow -wow -wow  -  ww

Hazard uses it a lot before drops as well. Any ideas?
