Oh, well in that case how are you creating groups, with the tellnews
commands or manually in some way?
And are you using dmulti or readonly servers?
Basically it sounds like dnews or a dnews slave has the wrong groupid or a
duplicate one and that is not normal and would usually only happen if the
active file was manually modified.

Just delete all of them, they are re-built automatically so you wont' loose
anything.
