Hi,

Okay the file permissions look correct. Can you please to the
following...

- Set in dnews.conf...

dmgrsvc_debug true

- Then restart dmgrsvc and try to access the web management gui.
- Then send us /usr/local/dnews/dmgr/*.log along with your entire
dnews.conf file and a directory
listings of the following...

ls -al /usr/local/dnews
ls -al /usr/local/dnews/dmgr

Also how are you starting DNews? You should be running
/usr/local/dnews/dnews_start.sh.
Can you also send us that file and the output from...

ps -aux | grep dmgr
ps -aux | grep dnews

Hopefully that will give us a better idea of what is causing this
problem.

Regards,
Brian

Note: If you are using Dnewsweb version prior to 5.4f3 we recommend
you upgrade due to a potential security issue found in those versions.
