Hi!
I am having problems getting my Remote Admin by web to work properly. My
dnews server uses sslwrap to encrypt the traffic. Because of this I have to
prompt connections from 127.0.0.1 for login information.
When I connect to port 7119 to access the web interface for administration I
login with a user specified in users.dat according to the manual. I get
accepted and I see the web interface. However when I try to issue some
tellnews commands I am sent the logoff message. How come?
I have dnewsweb running on a dedicated web server and my access.comf is
configured to allow users from that IP to post and read newsgroups. I wonder
if it is possible to place the administrative web interface on my web server
and point it to the dnewsweb server? Thereby avoiding the access problems.
