I would do this: I'm using rec.humor as an example
tellnews loglvl debug
tellnews debug suck:chan_read:chan_write:
tellnews rotate
tellnews cached rec.humor 10
tellnews getold rec.humor 100
tellnews updateone rec.humor
Then examine dnews.log and see what it records. You will see all the
commands sent upstream
and the responses.
