Cancel items are normally rejected if the item they are cancelling does not
exist locally.
Issue this command
tellnews cached control.cancel 10000
so it stays cached in future.

No it wasn't removed, probably the error is from tellnews which may not
have been
rebuilt that can be safely ignored and we'll fix it in the next build.
