fts indexes items as they arrive, so you cannot see older items through it
unless you rebuild the indexes
using
(stop xmit)
(delete fts database files from fts directory)
tellnews refeed ftsfeed
(start xmit)
Enabling fts shouldn't have any affect on reading old items with a normal
news client, if that occured
i would suspect you are either just seeing a news client that doesn't show
old items (try another one)
or possibly you did something wrong while installing fts. You could check
your expire rules to
see if they might have done something. (or send us your expire.conf and
tellnews status)
