Yes that seems to be the problem, thanks for telling us that, it saved me many
hours fruitless bug searching :-)

Here is a log showing what happens as the time
is reset 7 days into the future.

05 17:13:57 0:info: Manager logged in using hashed password
12 18:14:16  :info: db_piles_trim called

See the time jumps an hour forward to match the real time.

So I'm guessing people can live with this problem for another few days.

Well that explanation seems to make sense, I assume people can live with this
fault until next week and then we'll know if it is the cause or not.
