I have a group that shows up in the active.dat file (a.b.clip-art) yet has
not downloaded any messages since Apr 23 (I connected to our feed source
and there are messages beyond the 23 right up until today 26) Yet Dnews will
not download the messages. I have seen this in the past but it went away..
Here is what I have done:
tellnews uncached "alt.binaries.clip-art"
tellnews cached "alt.binaries.clip-art" 3
tellnews updateone "alt.binaries.clip-art" <when I do this the output
looks like:
200 news.nucleus.com DNEWS Version 5.4j7, S0, posting OK
281 Completed
205 closing connection - goodbye!
When doing an updateone isnt the group supposed to show up as being queued?
like this:
tellnews updateone calgary.forsale
200 news.nucleus.com DNEWS Version 5.4j7, S0, posting OK
Queueing calgary.forsale from suck1
281 Completed
205 closing connection - goodbye!
Something is wacked somewhere and I have no idea what...
Can anyone offer any clues? If this group is doing it I am sure there are
others...
