tellnews undelete "local.groups.*"
e.g.
tellnews undelete "kpn.*"
The alternative of stopping dnews and using active.mon or active.bak should
also have worked, active.age
is not an active.dat file though so that would not be a good thing to do. Try
restoring active.mon or active.bak and if that does't repair everything ...
panic, and let me know what
state it's in.
