Ok, there are 3 possible problems
1) Your me feed in newsfeeds.conf is faulty
2) You don't have the news group that you are trying
to post to
3) You have a config setting like cachedonly true defined.
So, If you have cachedonly true in dnews.conf remove it
Examine your ME feed in newsfeeds.conf it should probably look like this
if not change it so it does.
site me
groups *
...
Lastly check if the group in question exists on dnews
tellnews showgroups problem.group.name
I'm going to guess the problem is that the group doesn't exist, you can
just create it manually
tellnews newgroup wanted.group.name y
However if you want lots of news groups then you should be improrting
an active file from an upstream system, look on this web
page for how to get an 'active' file:
