Upgrade to 5.5 and set in dnews.conf
         thread_in true
Then see how it goes, if it isn't fixed send us access details again (I 
tried the
old ones but they didn't seem to work)

It is of course possible the problem is at the sending end but we can at least
figure out if that is likely or not.
