What version of dnewsweb is it? IF older than 5.5 then upgrade. Also try
the url manually to see if
it consistently doesn't respond to it.
Also even if it is locking up it shouldn't cause a server crash, that
suggests a fault with the web server or
something else, anyway we can certainly try and figure out why it's not
responding?
