Anyone running 5.5a1 or later who has had trouble with items mysteriously
expiring
should probably give 5.5c2 a try as it fixes a bug in the expiration
process that was
interoduced in 5.5a1 and could affect some systems (depending on config
settings):

(Other builds will be available in a few days)
This is a beta release, we hope to reclassify it as a stable release in a
few days
if no problems turn up :-)
