> Hi, I have a 2 PC LAN. DNEWS on one PC hopefully getting feeds from two
different sources. I have a BBS on the other PC. The BBS software has an
NNTP module that I would like to be able to get all the mail that DNEWS
imports. I only have one IP address and the BBS NNTP software needs a news
server address to get it's feed from. Anybody any ideas how I'd set this
up?.

Hi,

How does the NNTP module communicate with the server?
Does it connect via TCP/IP or does it require a particular message format?

Assuming it uses TCP/IP, then both machines should be configured to have a
unique IP address when you configure them, irrespective of the address seen
on the Internet. Your DNews system may only have a single IP address, and
you will need to figure out how to assign an internal IP address as well if
you have only one network interface.

When configuring your NNTP module, simply tell it the internal IP address of
the other system.
