Ok, sorry I made some stupid errors in that last email. What you should
put in dnews.conf
is:
nntp_feeder msnews.microsoft.com *
suck_file1 microsoft_groups_list.txt
And copy microsoft_groups_list.txt to the workarea directory.
Then issue these commands:
tellnews reload
tellnews getgroups
Now, if that still fails and creates all the groups, then my best guess is
you don't have
the new binary we sent somehow, but I'm guessing you just followed my
previous bad instructions
too closely (with the full path and nntp_feeder spelled wrong :-)
Failing all of that we'll be happy to login remotely and sort it out
directly if you prefer.
